Cover Supervisor Do you enjoy working with young people and supporting their learning and development? Have you been involved in volunteering or working with children? Working in secondary schools across Preston and surrounding areas, we offer day-to-day, short-term, and long-term cover supervisor work, with flexibility to suit your availability. WHAT IS A COVER SUPERVISOR? As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise secondary pupils (aged 11-16) in the absence of their regular teacher, delivering pre-set lessons across various subjects. You will manage classroom behaviour, ensuring students remain focused in a safe and productive learning environment. COVER SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: Delivering work that has been pre-set by the class teacher and responding to any questions asked during the lesson. Managing the behaviour of pupils following the school behaviour policies. Reporting back any issues you encounter during the day. A SUCCESSFUL COVER SUPERVISOR WILL HAVE: Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
