Role: Compliance Coordinator Location: Newburn Bakery Contract: Permanent Salary: £36,000 (dependant on experience) The Recipe We're looking for someone who's passionate about quality and compliance to help deliver our Unbeatable Quality Strategy. In this role, you'll support the Compliance Manager to uphold the highest standards across our bakery and depot operations. You'll play a key part in ensuring our sites meet all legal requirements and company expectations around food safety, hygiene, and product quality, helping us maintain the trust of our customers and the integrity of our brand. Please note due to the nature of this role you will be required on site full time. The Role In this role, you'll be responsible for gathering and analysing monitoring data to ensure full compliance with all relevant standards within the Quality Management System, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and audit readiness. You'll assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining the accuracy of the Document Management System (DMS), ensuring timely updates and reliable reporting. Internal site audits will be completed to schedule, verifying that control measures are consistently followed and documented. You'll also play a key role in promoting food safety and hygiene standards across the bakery, helping teams understand and deliver against expectations. Working closely with the Compliance Manager, you'll contribute to the identification and implementation of appropriate hygiene protocols, while supporting product quality assurance through routine checks and alignment with brand and regulatory standards. Essential Ingredients Auditor training Minimum Level 3 HACCP & Food Safety qualifications Knowledge of hygiene management, KPI's CIC, etc Appreciation of food microbiology Awareness of quality systems and external standards implementation. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages Demonstrates the ability to use a variety of IT systems and applications Knowledge of HS&E and food safety legislation. The Role Great products start with great planning. Join us as a Production Planner and help turn demand into action, creating schedules that keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently every day. Contract: 6 month fixed term Keeping our bakeries one step ahead, you'll create category-level production schedules through our Integrated Production Planning system. You'll be responsible for hourly schedules across days 2-11 and daily schedules from days 12-42, making sure everything is in the right place at the right time. Working closely with our manufacturing and despatch teams, Customer Forecasting, Inbound Materials Planning and PCT colleagues, you'll help make sure customer demand is met through effective planning, scheduling and execution. In short, you'll keep our plans rolling smoothly, so our products can too. The Recipe Create, deliver and communicate an effective weekly, forecasted manufacturing plan in line with Company guidelines. Create a daily schedule plan for use in manufacturing in line with Company guidelines. Check and upload the baking schedule into SAP and the transfer of the production plan to the Primary Control Tower. Working with the other planners and PCT monitor the execution of the plan with intervention when appropriate to ensure optimisation of order fulfilment. Effective communications are maintained with key contacts (customer team, PCT, Operations) Generate and distribute any business required reports. Essential Ingredients Excellent IT skills, including SAP Supply Planning capability and advanced spreadsheet skills, with confidence using pivot tables, lookups and data analysis tools. Knowledge of Access databases would be a bonus . A strong understanding of production planning, including maintenance, changeovers and labour constraints. Experience managing capacity across multiple sites and product categories is essential. Knowledge of manufacturing planning best practices, ideally within a fast-paced fresh food production environment. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into practical plans and informed decisions. Understands the importance of treating everyone fairly, respectfully and equally, helping to create an inclusive working environment.
