Water Hygiene Engineer Magenta Recruitment are looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a growing business based out of our clients Rochester, Kent office. This role will be cover all areas of the South East of England with the odd job going nationwide. Key Responsibilities: Conduct ACoP L8 HSG274 part 2 compliance related work Servicing of thermostatic mixing valves (including failsafe testing) Showerhead descaling Cleaning & disinfection of cold water storage tanks Cold water storage tank inspection Water quality sampling (Legionella and TVC) Required Skills: Minimum 1 years experience in the water hygiene industry Successful completion of WMSoC/City & Guilds (or similar recognised qualification) training in Legionella awareness and Legionella in hot and cold water systems Experience in using ZetaSafe software is preferred Building effective relationships with on-site clients Excellent organisation and time keeping skills, capable of working to deadlines Clear and confident communication skills A full clean driving license is required You will be required to travel nationwide, with the need for an occasional overnight stay Due to the nature of some of our clients, a DBS check will be conducted on all of our new starters. Labourer (Site & Yard) Starting Salary £13/Hour (Temp to Perm Contract) 39 hour working week Location based in Brandon (Suffolk) covering East Anglia Reporting to: Fire Department Manager & Lead Fire Surveyor Magenta Recruitment are looking for a Labourer in the East Anglia area to work with a property maintenance and refurbishment contractor located in the Suffolk. Joining their Fire Safety Team, supporting passive fire protection works across a range of live environments. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone practical and motivated who is looking to develop within the fire safety industry, with potential progression to Fire Door Installer or Fire Stopper. The right candidate will provide general site support to Fire Door Installers and Passive Fire teams across the East Anglia region. The role includes assisting with materials handling, site organisation and maintaining safe, tidy working environments. You will work both as part of a team and independently across social housing, MOD, healthcare and education sites. Key Responsibilities: Assist Passive Fire teams onsite with general labouring duties. Support fire door installers by carrying doors, frames and materials within buildings and loading vans.
