Year 5 class Full-time Southwark Maternity contract to start April 2026 MPS2 MPS4 A large, welcoming primary school in East Dulwich, Southwark are looking for an experienced primary teacher to teach a year 5 class. This is cover a maternity absence to start after Easter for the rest of the academic year. The Role In this Primary Teacher role you will take on full class teacher responsibilities. You will work alongside the other teacher in year 5 to share planning and year group responsibilities. There is an experienced team of support staff in place across the year group to support pupils within class and provide administrative support. The school are looking for an experienced primary teacher with QTS and as least 1 years teaching experience in KS2 as the appointment is mid-year and the class is slightly larger than average. You will need to be able to quickly establish a settled and calm classroom and continue the progress that has been achieved in the first term This role is paid to scale (MPS2 MPS4) and is offered on a full-time contract basis with a start in April until at least July 2026. We are working with a range of Secondary Schools across London who are looking for confident, professional and dedicated people to work as Cover Supervisors in their schools to provide short-term and daily cover for teachers. The Role As a Cover Supervisor you will work in secondary schools covering classes and ensuring students are working on tasks whilst teachers are absent or engaged in other activities and meetings. This is a key role within secondary schools and almost every secondary school will engage cover supervisors to allow teachers. This is great opportunity to work on flexible basis and gain experience within secondary schools. Cover Supervisors are required for the full school day - 8.30am to 3.45pm (approx.) A lovely primary school in Sutton is looking for a qualified Early Years Teacher to teach their nursery class on a temporary basis in January. The role In this role you will be a teach the nursery class, Monday to Friday mornings only. This Nursery Teacher role is a part-time teaching position with the hours 8.15am 12.30pm Monday to Friday. The school are looking for an experienced Nursery Teacher to join the school to cover a sickness absence.
