We are working with an established food manufacturer that supplies a wide range of products to UK retailers. Due to growth and product demand we are supporting them with the appointment of a Hygiene Supervisor to oversee cleaning and hygiene operations within a their fast paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety and compliance across the site while leading and supporting the hygiene team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining hygiene standards, supporting audits, and ensuring cleaning activities are carried out safely and effectively. On offer £33,000 - £37,000 doe 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension Working day shift 5 days out of 7 Key Responsibilities Supervise daily hygiene operations and allocate tasks in line with cleaning schedules. Lead and support hygiene operatives to ensure standards are consistently achieved. Monitor cleaning activities across production areas, facilities and external areas. Conduct hygiene inspections and internal audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Manage pest control checks and support improvement initiatives across the site. Ensure cleaning documentation and records are completed accurately. Maintain correct handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and ensure PPE is used appropriately. Support production teams during equipment cleaning and shutdown activities. Assist with preparation for internal, external and customer audits. Promote safe working practices and ensure compliance with site health and safety policies. Report hazards, accidents or near misses and support investigations where required. Ensure cleaning equipment and machinery are maintained and any faults are reported. Skills & Experience Previous experience in a hygiene or sanitation role within a manufacturing or food production environment. Experience supervising or leading a team. Good understanding of cleaning processes, chemicals and COSHH requirements. Strong organisational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively. Basic IT skills and ability to complete reports and documentation. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager on a 6-12m fixed term contract to support the Technical Manager in maintaining high food safety, quality and compliance standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring site quality systems are maintained, audits are successfully delivered, and food safety standards are consistently achieved across operations. On offer Salary is £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension Working Monday - Friday days.
