Job Title: Site Planner Location: Sunderland, UK Type: Contract Role Overview An experienced Site Planner is required to support the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial construction project in Sunderland. The role will focus on developing, managing, and controlling site-based programmes through to project completion, working closely with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed construction and commissioning programmes Integrate contractor schedules into a master programme Monitor site progress and identify programme risks or delays Produce progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans Carry out critical path and impact analysis Support change management and programme updates Attend site meetings and planning reviews Experience & Skills Proven experience as a Site or Project Planner on large-scale construction or industrial projects Strong knowledge of planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project) Good understanding of construction sequencing and site delivery Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-contractor environment Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Right to work in the UK Desirable Experience on manufacturing, energy, or major capital projects Background in EPC or complex infrastructure projects ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants. We are seeking an experienced Solar & Battery Electrician to join a growing residential renewables programme across Tunbridge Wells. This is a long-term (3 Years) opportunity working on domestic installations as part of an established delivery team. The Role You will be responsible for the electrical installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV and battery storage systems on residential properties. Works will be carried out on occupied homes, requiring a professional and customer-focused approach. Scope of Works Includes Installation of on-roof and in-roof (inline) solar PV systems Installation and commissioning of domestic battery storage systems AC and DC wiring, inverter installation, and system setup Consumer unit upgrades (where required) Fans and Doors under cuts Testing, inspection, and certification of completed works Key Responsibilities Carrying out solar PV and battery electrical installations to a high standard Ensuring compliance with BS 7671, MCS, and relevant regulations Completing electrical testing, commissioning, and certification Working safely and in line with site RAMS and H&S requirements Liaising professionally with Site Managers, project coordinators supervisors, and residents Accurately completing installation paperwork and handover documentation Required Experience Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) 18th Edition (BS 7671) BPEC Solar and Battery/EAL/LCL Experience with Inverter and battery storage systems ECS / CSCS card Experience working in occupied residential properties MCS experience or familiarity with MCS standards Experience working on retrofit or energy efficiency programmes Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
