GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Sports specialist to work at an SEN Primary- Secondary school providing 1:1 and group support. The role includes working 1:1 with children who have complex behavioural needs and using sports as a therapeutic method to manage challenging behaviours and to support the child s learning away from the classroom. The role includes: Providing 1:1 behaviour interventions for pupils who have challenging behaviour and Mental Health difficulties Supporting the Class Teacher with daily tasks and planning. Taking small groups of children out of the classroom to use sports as a learning method Encourage learning and concertation in lessons Leading sports classes indoors and outdoors Support the teacher with planning, assessments and marking.
