The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students' academic and behavioural development, and implementing tailored teaching strategies. This role offers an opportunity to work with children across various age groups, including early childhood and preschool settings, and to contribute to their overall growth and success. Duties Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science Support children with diverse needs through personalised tutoring, behaviour management techniques, and applied behaviour analysis where appropriate. Foster inclusive classroom environments that promote social skills, emotional well-being, and behavioural development. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure consistent support for each child's educational journey. Assist with Toddler care programmes and early childhood education activities. Proofread educational materials for accuracy and clarity. Mentor students to build confidence, independence, and motivation in their learning pursuits. Position: LT to Perm Start: ASAP Location: SW16 The Role A SEN School in SW16 is recruiting an SEN Teacher with preferably a music or art background who can help SLD/PMLD learners engage during their daily lessons. You will play a key part in using music to motivate pupils, build routines, reduce anxiety and create accessible learning experiences. This role requires a creative, calm and confident teacher who can adapt activities for pupils working at pre subject levels. To work under the direction of the Facilities Manager. Duties and Responsibilities To ensure the school buildings and site are secure. Carry out locking and unlocking duties of the site as required. Flexibility for out of hours opening and closing is required along with some weekend work. Arrangements to be made by prior agreement with reasonable notice. Carry out daily / weekly / monthly checks relating to statutory maintenance and health and safety, ensuring accurate logging records are complete and filed. To take responsibility for the help desk and address all requests, liaise with Facilities manager over larger works.
