The Role Reporting into the senior management team, you will take ownership of an existing portfolio of customers whilst proactively developing new business opportunities across a range of industrial sectors. You'll become the trusted point of contact for customers from initial enquiry through to project completion, ensuring exceptional service whilst identifying opportunities to increase revenue through additional products and services. Working closely with internal departments including Estimating, Production, Operations, Costings and Administration, you'll ensure projects are delivered efficiently whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This is a varied role that combines account management, business development, customer service and commercial negotiation. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop an established portfolio of key customer accounts. Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers. The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for an enthusiastic sales professional who enjoys developing lasting customer relationships and has a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service. You'll be commercially aware, highly organised and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideally you will have: Previous experience as a Sales Account Manager, Business Development Manager or Sales Executive. Experience selling within Manufacturing, Engineering, Export Packaging, Logistics, Industrial Services or a related B2B environment. Previous exposure to Defence, Commercial Export or Industrial Packaging sectors would be highly advantageous. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. You will be working away from home approximately 90% of the time (typically Monday to Friday).
