Technical Engineer (Building Insulation & Fenestration) - Hertfordshire / north London (with option of hybrid working) A new vacancy for a Technical Engineer (Insulation/Fenestration) with leading international provider of specialist services to the Construction industry. Reporting in to offices in the Hertfordshire / north London area, the Technical Engineer (Insulation/Fenestration) will be responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting assessments on a wide range of construction products & systems used for INSULATION, COATINGS and WATERPROOFING in buildings. You will also be involved in preparing contract offers and estimates for the assessment of these products and systems. The Technical Engineer (Insulation/Fenestration) will be required to research and investigate aspects of construction product and system performance, working as part of a team of specialists and contributing to team and individual targets & objectives. The role will be primarily office-based but wth the option of hybrid working up to 2 days per week. Key candidate requirements : - Graduate with degree in relevant Engineering or Science discipline (such as Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Physics). - Technical knowledge relating to the kinds of products & materials used for INSULATION, COATING, WATERPROOFING applications in building interiors/exteriors. - Experience in areas such as product development, design, materials testing and/or project management. - Knowledge of codes & standards used in relation to Construction Products (such as British Standards, Eurocodes or UKAS).

Technical Auditor (Manufacturing - Construction Materials) - Home-based in the GLOUCESTERSHIRE / WORCESTERSHIRE / HEREFORDSHIRE / WILTSHIRE area A new vacancy for a Technical Auditor (MANUFACTURING) with leading provider of test, assessment & approval services for the Construction industry. Home-based in Gloucestershire / Worcestershire / Herefordshire / Wiltshire area, the jobholder will conduct regular site assessments of Construction Product Manufacturing sites in the West of England, with a particular focus on Management Systems against one or more of the following standards: ISO 9001, 14001 or 45001. Full induction training will be provided in the company's auditing procedures, with additional training available as required (including 6-12mth development plans and mentoring). About You: The company is looking for a Technical Auditor (MANUFACTURING) excited about excellence and playing a critical part in the business' focus on serving its customers better. You must be comfortable working in a structured environment, with the ability to adapt when necessary. You should be able to work independently or as part of a team, and be confident to suggest improvements to work more efficiently when required. Essential Responsibilities: Complete concise technical reports. Assess and review the effectiveness of: - Quality Management Systems against ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards - Manufacture and production of approved products - Existing site installations or installations in progress to assess durability - Factory Production Control or EN 1090 structural steel production (training can be provided) Experience in third-party auditing. Desired Skills and Technical Expertise: Professionalism, Impartiality, Integrity. Results orientated. Auditing and Installation techniques with an IRCA recognised ISO qualification to 9001/14001 or 45001. Knowledge of Building Product Manufacturing and/or Construction industry.
