About the Role SourceCo Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Customer Account Executive to join a well-established specialist transport and logistics business operating within the live events, touring, entertainment and corporate sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced commercial team, supporting customer accounts from enquiry through to project delivery while playing a key role in business development, account management and marketing. You'll work closely with customers, Account Managers, Sales, Planning and Operations, ensuring quotations, bookings, customer communications and promotional activities are delivered professionally and efficiently. Alongside customer account support, you'll help promote the company's brand through social media, digital content, customer communications and marketing campaigns. Key Responsibilities Customer Account Management • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries and day-to-day account support. • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and industry contacts. • Deliver outstanding customer service across all interactions. • Manage customer communications regarding quotations, bookings and operational updates. • Support the retention and growth of existing customer accounts. • Resolve customer issues professionally and escalate where appropriate. • Promote services across the touring, live events and commercial sectors. Commercial & Sales Support • Prepare accurate quotations for transport, logistics and associated services. • Liaise with operational teams to obtain pricing and service information. • Maintain quotation records and pricing schedules. • Follow up commercial opportunities and support Account Managers with account development. • Assist with customer contracts, reporting and commercial administration. • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through additional services. Business Development • Support the development of new business opportunities. • Conduct proactive outreach via telephone, email and networking. • Generate and qualify new sales leads. • Maintain accurate CRM records and prospect pipelines. • Assist with customer reviews, presentations and account planning. Marketing & Social Media • Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. • Produce customer updates, newsletters, case studies and promotional material. • Coordinate marketing campaigns with internal departments. • Support website updates and digital marketing activities. • Monitor social media engagement and marketing performance. • Research market trends and competitor activity. • Assist with exhibitions, networking events and promotional campaigns. • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and confidentiality requirements. Operations Support • Coordinate customer bookings and transport requirements. • Liaise with Tour Managers, Production Managers, Event Organisers and Corporate Clients. • Communicate customer requirements accurately to Planning and Operations teams. • Assist with operational changes and service delivery updates. • Support projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion. Administration • Maintain accurate CRM records and customer documentation. • Produce reports, presentations and commercial information. • Support campaign planning and sales administration. • Ensure documentation complies with company procedures and GDPR requirements. The Ideal Candidate • Previous experience within Customer Service, Account Management, Sales Support, Business Development or Marketing. • Experience within transport, logistics, touring, live events or entertainment industries. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Experience producing professional social media and marketing content. • Strong knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • High attention to detail when preparing quotations and customer documentation. • Commercially aware with a proactive approach to customer development. • Confident communicating with customers via phone, email and face-to-face. • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). • Professional, creative and customer-focused approach. Desirable • Previous Account Management or Business Development experience. • Experience using CRM systems. • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Express, Mailchimp, Hootsuite or similar marketing platforms. • Experience creating B2B marketing content, newsletters and case studies. • Basic photography or video editing experience.
