Electrician - I am urgently looking for an Electrician to work in Ipswich , working on a domestic social housing contract for an electrical compliance provider. The work for the Electrician will include EICRs, testing and inspection and associated remedials within mainly occupied local authority or social housing properties. You will be required to complete the condition report plus any C1 & C2 remedials. Hours; Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay: Price work based or SoRs: £65 per EICR + additional pay for remedials (£10 fault find and rest, £5 smokes, £5 switch or outlet secure, £10 light fitting etc. Expected 3-4 tests per day / £250-£300 Per day+ Own vehicle and tester required. Requirements NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent. 2391 or 2394/95 test and inspection cert 18th Edition wiring regs. Competently use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment such as chisels, saws, planes, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers. Operate mechanical machines such as hand saws, bench saws, and portable circular saws safely and effectively. Read and interpret production information and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks. Carry out basic quality control checks to ensure all work meets required standards. Job Description: Paint Sprayer on Rolling Stock Vehicles Position: Paint Sprayer Location: Milton Keynes Rate: 28.29 per hour on Earlies/Afters or 32.33 per hour on Nights (Role is Inside IR35) Hours: Earlies: 06:00-16:00 / Afters: 12:00-22:00 / Nights: 22:00-06:00 Summary: A Paint Sprayer is responsible for applying paint and other finishes to vehicles, Vehicle components, machinery, equipment, and various surfaces using spray guns. This role involves ensuring a high-quality finish, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Surface Preparation: - Cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces prior to painting. - Ensuring surfaces are properly primed and free of defects before application. Painting and Finishing: - Mixing paints to achieve desired colours and consistencies. - Applying paint, varnish, or other finishes using spray guns or other applicators. - Achieving uniform coverage and thickness according to specifications. Inspection and Quality Control: - Inspecting finished surfaces for quality and making necessary touch-ups or corrections. - Ensuring all painted surfaces meet company standards and customer specifications. Equipment Operation and Maintenance: - Setting up, calibrating, and maintaining spray equipment and tools. - Cleaning spray guns, hoses, and other equipment after use to ensure longevity and performance. Fire Door Assessor TXM Recruit are supporting a national building and maintenance contractor in the search for a Fire Door Surveyor. The work will consist of inspecting Fire Doors across commercial buildings UK wide. Duties : Ensure remedial pricing given are within industry rates (essentially cost audit) Ensure highlighted remedial are accurate for retained fire doors Doors declassified align with instruction (they will be removing signage, asset tag, and putting chrome plate on) Ensure the Fire Doors retain as fire doors align with instruction. Produce accurate drawings. Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day. Pay : 240 per day (CIS). Due to the extensive amount of travel, we will look to pay a mileage allowance for any miles exceeding 50 miles per day.
