Job Title: Project Planner / Project Controls Engineer Location: North East Salary: Up to 55,000 (depending on experience) Role Overview The Project Planner will support construction-phase planning and project controls activities on projects based in Teesside. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and analysing project schedules, working closely with site and project teams to monitor progress, manage change, and provide accurate reporting against agreed baselines. Key Responsibilities Communicate with project stakeholders to understand project objectives, scope, constraints, and delivery priorities. Develop and maintain construction-phase project schedules in line with standard planning processes and procedures. Support the coordination and management of projects across multiple workstreams. Gather schedule-related information from stakeholders as required. Carry out administrative tasks including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and producing meeting minutes. Support the development of key schedule documentation such as Basis of Schedule and Schedule Narratives. Perform schedule updates and monitor project progress against approved baselines. Identify, analyse, and report schedule variance. Identify and assess schedule changes, impacts, and potential mitigation measures. Identify potential schedule risks and support impact assessments.
