Job Description The Electrical Project Delivery Supervisor will be responsible for managing and growing the current team of highly skilled Electrical Engineers, to design and install the electrical installation to support the control systems. This role will be working alongside control system project engineering staff. The ideal candidate is to be self-motivated, a practical problem solver with good communication and written skills, well educated with relevant qualifications or have previous experience in a similar environment. Whilst the majority of the work will be within standard working hours this operational role requires you to be flexible and will involve extensive travel to sites (approx. max of 3 hours away). Some time away from home is to be expected but it is not planned to exceed 20% of the working week. Hotels will be provided for any commute times over 1.5 hours. What the role entails: Leading engineering delivery, to client expectations, for electrical installation, to support the control system projects. To assign tasks and providing supervision, mentoring, guidance and support to the installation team of Electrical Engineers, Technicians and Apprentices Developing and implementing standard work practices to ensure electrical installations are carried out in accordance with industry and client specific specifications Developing and implementing standard work practices to ensure the purchasing of installation materials is planned and efficient, reducing waste and improving our Just In Time procurement to ensure that engineers have the materials they need on site Designing, developing, installing and maintaining electrical control systems and components to specification Identifying sales opportunities and providing technical support to sales staff for electrical installation, maintenance and support work packages Authoring and configuring system design documentation, network architecture drawings, electrical drawings and general arrangement Aiding in the production of detailed design specifications including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and System Design Specifications (SDS) Managing and completing site surveys Candidate requirements: Minimum of 3 years practical experience and ideally a solid understanding of electrical diagrams for control panel wiring or electrical installation. Electrical qualifications C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC or HNC/HND, 18th edition required. Previous experience in a service & support, electrical installation or maintenance role. Our client is looking for a Hose Doctor Engineer to join their team based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will have a fully equipped van with workshop, hose & fitting stock and tools also, a company uniform is provided. What to expect: £30,000 DOE Commission, overtime, fully expensed company vehicle 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday Key Responsibilities: To provide an onsite, mobile hose replacement service responding within the hour to referred jobs in the East and West Midlands. Target is 100% on time. To provide 24hr call out coverage as per rota. Average one week in five on call. To canvas new and prospective customers for business. Engineer is set targets, above which, commission is payable. To assist in the Derby workshop as and when deemed necessary. To ensure van and equipment is maintained in a smart, functional, roadworthy condition and that uniform is always worn and kept as clean as practicable. To control and maintain stock of all necessary products in the van. All stock is computer controlled, and any stock losses will be deducted from sales revenue.
