Nursery Nurse - Sheffield We are recruiting a part time nursery nurse to work in our Sheffield nurseries. We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of secondary schools in the Chesterfield area. The Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will: Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task. Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and maintain a positive learning environment. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Support students with their learning where appropriate. Work flexibly across different subjects and year groups. Requirements We are looking for individuals who: Have strong communication and organisational skills. Are confident managing groups of young people. Are reliable, punctual, and able to adapt quickly to new environments. Hold a minimum of GCSEs (A C) in English and Maths or equivalent. Have previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential). Are eligible to work in the UK. Expectations Successful candidates will: Be available for short-notice bookings as well as planned cover. Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards at all times. Follow school behaviour policies and demonstrate professional conduct. Engage positively with staff and students, contributing to the school community.
