The Role: • Retail Manager at Southside collaborating with our brand partners to maximise sales and income growth opportunities and to understand their trading and marketing strategies. • This exciting role will require a combination of strategic thinking, retail and operational oversight, and relationship management skills to ensure the success of Southside and brand partners trading at the Outlet.This role is on a fixed-term contract basis. The Team: • A vital member of a high performing centre management team to create and implement strategies and business plans for the centre. What you will be responsible for: Strategic Focus: • Identify sales and income growth opportunities by collaborating with Brand Partners to understand their trading and marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on priority retailers that drive high-value income growth for Landsec. • Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM strategy in partnership with all Brand Partners to support the strategic asset plan. Brand Partner Relationship Management: • Conduct regular visits to Brand Partners to foster strong working relationships, gather performance insights, and enhance collaboration. • Design and implement a communication strategy that keeps Brand Partners informed about commercial, marketing, and operational matters. • Collaborate to ensure consistent high-quality brand presentation, focusing on windows, hot zones, and store entrances. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all Brand Partner contact details, including Store Managers, Area Managers, and head office contacts. Data Analysis and Reporting: • Compile and analyse weekly Brand Partner sales data, ensuring it accurately reflects trading activity, and provide timely reports to internal stakeholders. • Review and analyse available data to assess retail, leisure, and managed operations performance, identifying variances compared to last year and budget projections. • Maximize the use of centre and industry data, including CACI, footfall, dwell time, average spend, catchment areas, and customer profiles. Customer Service, Training & Coaching (Brands): • Collaborate with the centre team to ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered. • Lead the Centre Induction Training for all new Brand Partners, covering both operational and commercial requirements. Marketing: • Drive awareness and engagement with the centre's website, promoting both the centre's and Brand Partners' offers to boost sales and income. • Partner with the marketing team to encourage Brand Partners to participate in sales-driven activities such as events, promotions, and campaigns aligned with the centre's marketing strategy.• Communicate brand marketing requests to partner agencies, and identify any additional marketing needs. .• Support delivery of marketing campaigns and centre events in line with strategic objectives Commercialisation: • Work closely with mall operators to maintain high standards of presentation and service, ensuring alignment with mall space guidelines and the centre's strategy. Community Engagement: • Develop and deliver community engagement programs and initiatives.• Build relationships with local schools, charities, community groups, and businesses.• Act as the primary point of contact for community-related enquiries and partnerships.• Represent the shopping centre at local events, meetings, and networking opportunities Additional Requirements: • Collaborate with the centre team to enhance the overall experience for both guests and Brand Partners. • Perform the role of Duty Manager as needed or as agreed with the Centre Director, including weekend shifts on a rota basis. • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.• Support the GX lead with Guest Experience initiatives as required.
