The company manufactures a wide range of precision components for a variety of sectors. Duties and responsibilities include: - Operating Nakamura CNC multi-axis machining centres - Monitoring production of precision components - Changing tips/tools as required - Ensure components are washed and prepared for the next step in production The ideal candidate must have/ skills required: - Experience with FANUC or similar controls - Understanding of basic metrology using vernier calipers, micrometer, height gauges etc - Experience of running programs on CMMs and other automated inspection devices. - Ability to read and understand technical drawings Experience in the following areas will be required: High attention to detail Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills. Good time management. Hourly rate shown is inclusive of night shift allowance which is time and a third. Overtime when available is time and a half.
