They are recruiting for a Technical Support Co-Ordinator to join the business to provide Customer and Product Support through delivery of technical support for their product range over the phone and via email. Job Responsibilities: Provide technical advice to customers on the product range over the phone or email as part of the technical support desk. Proof reading of technical documents keeping up to date with regulations regarding test equipment and the wider electrical industry Investigate customer concerns. Performs product testing in line with new product developments. Learns new products Demonstrating products to electricians and electrical contractors Attending 8 trade shows a year in the UK with the Sales Manager (all expenses paid) Qualifications At least 2 years experience and knowledge of working as an electrician or electrical engineer Technical Knowledge: Technical knowledge of electrical testing and measurement equipment Technical/Engineering approach to problem solving. IT literate - good experience using Microsoft Office packages. Understanding of IET regulations 17th / 18th edition trained Soft Skills: Excellent listening and questioning skills, combined with the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution.
