Overtime available Our client in Central Tamworth is soon to be in the market for up to six experienced Production Operatives for their busy production facility, producing parts for the construction industry. They are seeking candidates with a minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing/production capacity, ideally machine operating or quality inspection. Your main responsibilities as a factory operative will include: - Operating a range of hydraulic hand press / power presses (up to 300 ton) - Loading and unloading machinery manually - End of line quality inspection (first on / last offs) - Keeping pace with rapid machine outputs - Material handling across the factory floor In order to be successful in our Production Operative role, you will require the following: - 6 months experience with running press machinery - Spotless timekeeping and attendance record - Pride in your own work, along with a clear eye for detail - Technically minded, with ambitions to learn and progres (the company may consider developement into more technical roles) Pay rate: 11.44 - rotating day shifts Nights: 12.25 - night shifts Hours of work: DAYS - (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) NIGHTS - (Apply online only) If you are interested in applying for our Press Operative role, please click to apply.

Temp to perm opportunity Overtime availability Market-leading facilities & free parking We are actively seeking a number of experienced FLT Counterbalance and PPT Drivers for a busy manufacturing facility in the Tamworth area. This is a long term opportunity with a forward-thinking process plant which puts worker welfare and engagement at the forefront of its operation. This is a decades old business which produces and distributes materials for the construction industry nationwide. Due to the layout of the shop floor, which can involve narrow aisles and congestion of forklifts in their Goods Out department, it is vital that all applicants have a high degree of confidence on the trucks. As such, we are really looking for an absolute minimum of 18 months active FLT operation experience. Your main responsibilities are as follows: - Locating orders using computerised inventory system, and retrieving them using the Counterbalance fork lift truck - If assigned a PPT role, you will be expected to conduct manual picks whilst operating the vehicle safely - Maintaining a strong awareness of your surroundings and ensuring H&S is a top priority - Assisting with manual loading/ offloading duties as required - General despatch paperwork - Housekeeping of the shop floor and ensuring walkways are clear of debris Shifts available are as follows: Fixed AM (Apply online only - 13.00 per hour Fixed PM (Apply online only - 14.62 per hour Fixed Nights (Apply online only - 16.25 per hour All core hours worked will be Monday to Friday.
