We currently have vacancy for a Base Operative to support operations at our Heysham facility. Duties will include but not limited to loading and discharging trailers and containers, lifting operations, checking materials and maintaining yard and warehouse cleanliness. Applicants will have experience of operating a forklift up to 12 tonne and working in a similar role. An OPITO approved Banksman/Slinger certificate is also highly desirable, but not essential as training will be provided. The successful candidate will have a focus on delivering good customer service as well as a commitment to health and safety. Communication skills are also important in this safety critical role. SAP and stock checking experience is desirable but not essential The successful candidate will also be required to support the duty call out rota (1 week out of 3). Power BI Reporting & Analysis Support, maintain, and enhance existing Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and dataflows. Develop new reports and report enhancements using established data models and governed data sources. Respond to business queries and ad-hoc reporting requests in a structured and timely manner. Optimise reports for performance, usability, and consistency with existing standards. Data Modelling & Power BI Architecture Work with existing semantic models and dataflows to support reporting requirements. Apply Power BI best practices for data modelling, DAX, and Power Query. Support the implementation and maintenance of Power BI security models, including row-level security where applicable. Collaborate with data owners and technical teams to resolve data quality or modelling issues. Stakeholder Engagement Communicate insights, findings, and limitations of data clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Provide guidance and support to report consumers to improve adoption and effective use of reports. Governance, Quality & Documentation Ensure all reporting outputs align with data governance, security, and quality standards. Maintain clear technical and user-facing documentation for reports and datasets. Identify opportunities to improve existing reporting solutions, performance, and usability. Essential Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI , including: Dataflows Semantic models and data modelling DAX and Power Query Experience working with and supporting existing reporting environments . Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a structured and organised manner. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insight. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality. Desirable / Nice to Have Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (not essential). Experience building and supporting Power Apps (Canvas or Model) Working with automation tools such as Power Automate & Logic Apps Familiarity with Azure-based data sources or cloud data platforms.
