My client specialise in servicing a wide spectrum in all moulding materials. They are toolmakers and precision engineers specialising in the design and manufacture of all production tooling. We are currently looking for experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join this company based in Lancashire. Key skills required of the CNC Miller Programmer: Must have over 4+ years hands on working experience as a CNC Miller Must have 4+ years experience with Setting and Operating Mills Cam experience is required minimum 3 years Experience as a Programmer is required around 5+ year Ability to write programs from scratch Any experience of Fanuc or Heidenhain is required Some experience of CAM will be beneficial Ideally Apprentice trained The successful CNC Miller Programmer's main duties would include, programming and setting CNC Machining centres producing low volume, high value complex components to tight tolerances by studying engineering drawings and Computer generated Models and applying knowledge of materials and machining. Production Leader We are working with a well-developed company who have a focused manufacturing capability based on CNC technology. In addition to traditional standalone machining centres, they have 6 sliding head CNC lathes that allow complete production of finished components from raw bar material. We are recruiting for an experienced Production Leader to join them in their facility in Rotherham. Key skilled required of the Production Leader: Must have at least 12 months experience in a supervisory role The Production Leader must have experience with CNC Turner and CNC Milling Experience as a Setter Operator will be required Ability to write programs from drawings - at a high level of competence Some experience of managing small teams Ability to run and meet schedules, keep the shift moving, employees motivated etc. Experience of medium to high volume engineering background Experience of cutting variety of materials - from basic carbon plate, Nicol, duplex etc The successful Production Leader will be very hands on and will be managing a team of 6 employees. This is full time permanent position and working the late afternoon shift only. In return my client are offering excellent hourly rate inclusive of shift allowance, free on site park and other benefits to be confirmed.
