What we're looking for You'll likely have around 2-3 years' experience in backend or full-stack engineering, alongside a strong academic background in computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related technical subject. We'd like to see: Backend development experience, ideally using Python. Experience with other backend languages will also be considered. Experience working with AWS. A good understanding of SQL and relational databases. Experience building and maintaining production software. An interest in data pipelines, integrations and asynchronous workflows. An enthusiastic, practical approach and the confidence to take a task through to completion. You'll enjoy asking questions, understanding how things work and thinking beyond the immediate technical task. Previous experience in energy, trading or finance is welcome, but isn't required.
