This role is based primarily at the McLaren Production Centre, where you will be assigned a deck of suppliers and be expected to collaboratively work with them to assure McLaren Quality requirements are met. Support the technical team with effective design of experiments to find the real root cause of the issues that arise on a day-to-day basis. Establish and maintain control of the supply base supporting all change management, part quality and concern resolution to support McLaren's business objectives. Develop strategic supply base improvement initiatives, that underpin the McLaren continuous improvement ethos.

As part of McLaren Automotive's continued growth and its multi-propulsion strategy, we are expanding our Supplier Quality & Development (SQD) team. Strengthening the global SQD function will enhance collaboration with suppliers worldwide and reinforce the delivery of robust quality standards across both new and existing vehicle programmes. As a Senior Supplier Quality & Development Engineer, you will take ownership of suppliers within the Body in White (BIW) commodity area, managing a global supply base for components such as structural stampings, aluminium castings, extrusions, composite panels, adhesive bonding systems, and complete body assemblies. You will manage these suppliers across the full lifecycle-from sourcing and industrialisation through to series production-ensuring launch success and ongoing performance in quality, delivery, and structural integrity. Operating from the UK with a global remit, you will lead industrialisation activities, assess and guide supplier manufacturing processes, and build long-term capability within the supply chain for BIW.

This role involves overseeing the lifecycle of various components, ensuring quality, delivery, and performance. As a technician within the production area, reporting to the Team Leader/Group Leader at McLaren Automotive, you will take on a role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation within one of our Process areas, ensuring your build process is delivered to a high standard. What You'll Do Your primary responsibility will be to ensure all health and safety guidelines are adhered too, the build process (PES) is followed to build a supercar to the desired standard and to elevate any build issues to your leader within takt. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals as a company.
