Level 3 Play Worker / Level 3 Support Worker B10, Birmingham 9:30am 3:00pm Part-time, half-term holidays only Looking for rewarding work that fits neatly around term time? We re supporting a local playscheme in the B10 area of Birmingham and are looking for a Level 3 qualified Play Worker or Support Worker to support our half-term holiday provision. You ll be working with children aged 5 to 13, with the majority being primary school age, helping to create fun, structured days where children feel safe, included, and excited to take part. What you ll be doing: Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities for children Supporting children in a structured play environment Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive space for all ages and abilities Managing and supporting a small team of four volunteers Encouraging participation, teamwork, and positive behaviour Making sure safeguarding and health and safety standards are always followed What we re looking for: A Level 3 qualification in Playwork, Childcare, or Support Work Experience working with children, particularly primary-aged children Confidence leading activities and supporting volunteers A calm, organised approach with lots of energy and enthusiasm A genuine passion for helping children play, learn, and thrive Why this role works well: Perfect if you re looking for holiday-only work Short, manageable shifts that still make a real difference A chance to lead activities and enjoy your working day Be part of a provision where children s wellbeing comes first All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Mental Health Support Worker / Learning Mentor (SEN) Do you want to make a real difference? Do you enjoy supporting children or vulnerable young people? Do you have experience in social care, SEN, or personal experience supporting SEND? If so, this could be the role for you. Protocol Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to work within a Specialist School Setting, supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will be joining a supportive and experienced team, working with pupils who require patience, consistency and positive role models. While experience with SEMH is beneficial, it is not essential a strong attitude, resilience and a genuine desire to support children are key.
