Our client, a leading housing association, is seeking an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join their property services team for 6-9 months to assist them in completing a backlog of stock condition surveys. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional surveyor to play a key role in ensuring the organisation s housing stock is safe, compliant and well-maintained. Appointments will be made by the scheduling team on behalf of the surveyors. Key Responsibilities: Carry out stock condition surveys across a diverse housing portfolio. Complete HHSRS (Housing Health and Safety Rating System) assessments to identify hazards and ensure homes meet current housing standards. Record and update condition data accurately using handheld devices or surveying software. Provide technical advice and recommendations on repair, investment and improvement works. Liaise with residents and contractors in a professional and customer-focused manner. Experience and Skills Required: Previous experience conducting stock condition surveys and HHSRS assessments within the social housing sector. An understanding around damp including types of damp and remedial action that can be taken to resolve issues. Strong knowledge of building pathology, maintenance, and housing standards. Proficient in using surveying software and mobile data collection tools. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel across the region required). Engineering Maintenance Specialist Mechanical Location: Central London Salary: £37,259 - £45,355 + excellent NHS benefits Contract: Full-time, permanent The Role As the Engineering Maintenance Specialist, you ll be providing essential mechanical support across the hospital estate. You ll manage and maintain a range of complex building services, including ventilation, steam systems, confined spaces and medical gas systems. You ll be a key member of a dedicated team ensuring essential services run safely and efficiently. Plumber Location: Central London Salary: £33,000 - 36,000 excellent NHS pension & benefits and opportunity for overtime Contract: Full-time, permanent The Role You ll be delivering high-quality plumbing maintenance, installation, and repair across a wide range of systems in a complex hospital estate. As a Certified Person, you ll work on specialist infrastructure including water, steam, ventilation and medical gas systems, ensuring critical facilities are safe, functional and compliant.
