Responsibilities of the Property Claims Handler Handle a caseload of Commercial Property and wider Commercial claims up to the value or £100,000, plus higher values with referral. Assess liability, validity and quantum of the claim to achieve the desired resolution for all parties involved. Investigate claims and complete reviews with policyholders, brokers and underwriters. Successfully negotiate settlement of claims with Insurers, Loss Adjusters and other third-parties to achieve company KPIs. Act as a senior member of the team, assisting with complex cases and giving technical guidance through the Claim process. Background of the Property Claims Handler Successful candidates must have experience handling a caseload of property claims from intimation to settlement in addition to commercial property claims exposure.
