We're now recruiting for a Digital Product Developer , a key technical role within our growing digital product and experience function. Working alongside the Senior Digital Product Manager and Senior Digital Experience Manager, you'll help design, build, and optimise digital solutions across three interconnected areas: websites (key focus), digital products such as wellbeing apps and user portals, and automation and process optimisation initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical expertise in a purpose-driven environment, combining modern web technologies, integrations, and low/no-code automation to improve how people engage with our services and how our teams work behind the scenes. The role offers flexibility with remote working, alongside occasional travel to London or Manchester for in-person collaboration and key meetings. Main Responsibilities As Digital Product Developer, you will: Develop, maintain, and optimise solutions across websites, digital products, and automation initiatives. Build front-end experiences using modern frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, or similar) and contribute to back-end logic and API integrations (e.g. Node.js, .NET, or Python). Create and enhance automation solutions (e.g. chatbots, workflow optimisation, intelligent forms) using low/no-code and AI-enabled tools. Collaborate with content, product, design, and operational teams to deliver secure, accessible, and high-performing user experiences. Implement best practices in accessibility, SEO, and performance across Turning Point's digital estate. Support technical lifecycle management, ensuring solutions remain effective, maintainable, and aligned with evolving needs. Champion modern development practices, experimentation, and continuous improvement in digital delivery. Contribute to the definition of technical standards, architecture, and tooling within the digital team. The Ideal Candidate We're looking for a skilled and curious full-stack developer who thrives at the intersection of technology, user needs, and organisational impact. You'll be someone who: Has proven experience developing technical solutions across websites, digital products, and/or automation initiatives. Is confident with modern front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, frameworks such as React or Angular) and has foundational experience in back-end technologies (Node.js, .NET, or Python). Understands web architecture, APIs, and data integrations. Is familiar with content management systems (e.g. Kontent.ai) and website optimisation best practices. Can integrate automation solutions using low-code/no-code tools, RPA, or AI-enabled workflows. Works effectively in agile, cross-functional teams, translating product and design requirements into robust, user-centred technical solutions. Applies secure development practices and understands accessibility, performance, and privacy standards. Is innovative, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning. Desirable experience includes mobile or hybrid app development, cloud platforms (e.g. Azure), CI/CD pipelines, database management, and API development - though above all, we value your ability to solve problems, learn fast, and deliver quality solutions.
