As the Trainee HR Advisor you'll be reporting to the HR Services Team Leader you will help support our diverse portfolio of clients with a range of HR and employment issues across the UK. You may already be working in HR administration, legal administration, compliance, professional services, customer advice or another role where accuracy, confidentiality and dealing with people are important. What you'll do as our Trainee HR Advisor Working alongside our experienced HR team, developing your knowledge and confidence across a broad range of HR activities. Support with client queries by telephone and email, helping to ensure they receive a friendly, professional and timely service. assist with HR administration and prepare employment documentation including contracts, offer letters, policies and other HR documents. Maintain accurate case notes and client records using our case management systems and help administer HR systems on behalf of clients. Support the team with employee relations matters, recruitment, onboarding and general HR queries, gaining practical experience of how employment law is applied in the workplace. As your experience and confidence grow, you will gradually take on more responsibility for dealing directly with clients and providing HR advice. About You We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, organised and enjoys working with people. You may have previous experience in an HR administration role, but this isn't essential. We would also be interested in candidates with backgrounds in legal administration, compliance, financial services, insurance, professional services, customer advice or another environment where accuracy, confidentiality and following procedures are important. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable speaking to people on the telephone. Strong administration and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks at the same time. An interest in HR, employment law and helping businesses manage their people effectively. Confident using Microsoft Office and be comfortable learning new systems and technology. Previous HR Experience, CIPD study or a relevant qualification would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
