Possess a robust understanding and application of cable system design principles, including thermal ratings Provide technical support to the Procurement function through scope production, review of designer specifications, BoMs and review of offers/proposals for the purchasing of HV cables and associated accessories, engaging with international suppliers. Lead supplier engagement for Type Testing, customer Type Registration requirements and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), ensuring all deliverables meet associated IEC, British Standards and customer specifications/scope.
