Traffic/Highways Project Engineer Location: South Midlands/Hybrid Rate: £40530.60 - £47683.60 + Benefits We are seeking an experienced Traffic/Highways Project Engineer for an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of a high-profile Rail scheme. This role offers a chance to work as the end client, ensuring that consultancies and contractors deliver high-quality traffic and highway designs in accordance with the contract. Key Responsibilities Assuring the delivery of Traffic Management, New Road Design, Traffic Flow Forecasts, and Planning. Ensure contractors and consultancies meet contractual and design standards. Solve problems effectively by working closely with contractors and consultants. Conduct site visits and work from contractor compound offices as required. What We're Looking For Proven experience in Traffic Management Design, Road Impact Assessments, and Highways Maintenance. Strong knowledge of S278 agreements and a solid understanding of Traffic Management Design. Strong understanding of Local Authority Traffic/Highways. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
