We are looking for full time Pallet & Packaging Co-ordinator reporting to the Sales Manager. Overview We have an exciting role based at our Lockerbie site, whilst coordinating across all production sites throughout the country. This role will work across sales and production and it is important to ensure that customer needs are exceeded, production is optimised and stock levels are appropriate. In this role, you can really make a difference. Responsibilities Capacity planning Complete weekly analysis of our pallet & packaging order book. For each product category identify any over/under capacity and lead time. Communicate this information to the sales and planning teams. Work with the team to identify any problem sizes and agree a resolution. Work with our production planner to identify any time critical orders are prioritised. Compile stock information from all sites and circulate this to our customer base. Proactively move slow moving product. Sales / customer co-ordination Build great relationships with our pallet & packaging customers - both internal and external. Liaise with regular customers to identify monthly requirements. Schedule these orders in line with capacity plan. Be the first point of contact for all customers who are seeking information regarding delivery dates. Proactively inform customers of any issues with their upcoming orders or opportunities to improve their delivery dates. Use your detailed knowledge of the production capabilities of each site to answer new customer enquiries. Work with the despatch team to ensure the optimum efficiency. Liaise with customers to ensure that orders are live and any appropriate balances are cancelled down, whilst ensuring there isn't any stock produced against the balance. Coordinate with the field sales manager that agree pricing with customers and assist them with customer sales information. Ad-hoc responsibilitie Cover for production planning and dispatch teams. Your skillset You have a thirst for knowledge - you will strive to understand the production processes at each site and which products allow them to optimise production, whilst delivering customer needs. You'll also understand how our customers use our product to allow you to service their requirements appropriately.
