Sureserve Compliance Central We are a national company offering market leading heating & hot water solutions from a network of regional offices across the East of England and the Midlands, strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage and uncompromised access to our clients We are currently searching for a dynamic and proven Regional Manager to join our team. Overview of Role The Regional Manager will provide technical support, and training to a team of experienced qualified gas engineers. They will also be responsible for the recruitment and performance management of the team, setting the standard for service and ensuring the team meets company objectives. You will be a key point of communication, liaising with senior management and reporting on regional developments. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the recruitment and development of an engaged workforce, motivating and managing through the appropriate HR processes, including incidents of grievance and a disciplinary nature. Ensure that contractual and specific requirements are delivered, motivating the Engineers, and providing technical support in completing their duties both during normal working hours and through the 24/7 call out. Communicating Company procedures and Client requirements to operatives through daily contact and the structured monthly Toolbox Talks. Represent the Company in a professional manner at Client Progress Meetings, Tenant Forums, when dealing with complaints etc. Maintain accurate records of all formal communications, site visits and Client meetings. Drive the implementation of company strategies at the regional level. Financial responsibility for region including annual budget planning and period reforecasting. Manage stakeholder relationships with national and local customers, supply chain and workforce. Analyse key metrics and prepare comprehensive regional reports. Required Attributes: Proven experience in a managerial role within a similar sector. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Overview of Role: The primary responsibility of the Dual Fuel Engineer in the oil and gas industry is responsible for maintaining and repairing systems that operate on both gas and oil fuels. They will ensure that the heating & hot water systems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Diagnose faults and perform corrective repairs on oil and gas components. Compliance & Safety Ensure all work complies with industry regulations (e.g., Gas Safe, OFTEC). Perform safety checks and risk assessments on fuel systems. Technical Documentation Maintain accurate service records and compliance certificates. Report on system performance and recommend upgrades or replacements. Customer Interaction Liaise with clients to explain issues and solutions. Provide technical support and advice on system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region. Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards. Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually. Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work. To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements. Key Attributes & Requirements: Gas qualifications are essential for this role including must have as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent. Must have as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, HTR1. Unvented hot water cylinders. OFTEC Certification for oil systems (essential). Must have OFT10-101, OFT10-105E, OFT10-600A Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis is required as part of this role A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.
