Working knowledge of carbon accounting standards (ISO 14064, GHG Protocol and its variants, PAS 2050) and understanding of carbon neutrality standards such as PAS 2060. Working knowledge of LCA and software such as GABI. Experience of Scope 3 value chain assessment techniques and methods. Familiarity with a range of approaches to target setting including science-based target methodologies, CDP, climate related risk assessment and scenario analysis. Familiarity with the recommendations of TCFD and other publications aimed at supporting organisations address, manage and prepare against the impact's climate change. The business is based in Edinburgh and occupies a superb office space overlooking Edinburgh Castle. The company is evolving and therefore they are looking for a new Team Leader to be responsible for the Energy Systems Operators. It is a 24/7 operational shift team, and you will be reporting to the Operations Manager. Regular tasks will include people management and formal line management. You need to have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to keep calm under pressure, as you will be working in a very reactive environment. Along with enthusiasm and proactive you will bring commercial acumen, data analysis and IT literacy to the role.
