Our client is looking for an Offshore Package Manager to work on a long-term subsea cable installation project on a contract basis. The Role Leads all offshore delivery activities related to the subsea cable installation, ensuring that offshore works are executed safely and efficiently in line with the Employer s requirements. The Offshore Package Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of the offshore scope, from readiness planning through to installation, post-lay inspection, and handover. This includes subcontractor coordination, overseeing their marine operations, vessel mobilisation, and the implementation of interface protocols with adjacent packages. The role demands a strong focus on operational execution, and programme control. Key Duties Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of all offshore installation activities, including marine operations, cable lay, trenching, and cable protection. Work closely with offshore installation subcontractors, vessel providers, and marine warranty surveyors to ensure readiness, compliance and delivery. Manage offshore interfaces with other packages, such as landfall HDD and onshore works. Monitor offshore schedule and performance; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure all offshore works comply with marine permitting, HSE standards, and project-specific marine coordination procedures. The Person Experience managing offshore cable installation scopes. Strong knowledge of marine operations, subsea construction methods, and vessel logistics. Understanding of applicable HSE legislation, marine consents, and risk management in offshore environments. Proven ability to manage subcontractors and offshore delivery interfaces. Relevant degree or equivalent advantageous.

The Onshore Package Manager is accountable for the planning, execution, and coordination of all onshore civil and cable installation works, including trenching, ducting, cable pull-in, jointing, and reinstatement. The role involves managing interfaces with local authorities, third-party asset owners, and adjacent contractors, as well as maintaining oversight of environmental compliance and construction logistics across distributed work sites. Key Duties Lead planning, execution, and quality control for all onshore activities, including trenching, duct installation, cable pulling, jointing, and reinstatement. Manage subcontractors delivering civil works, ensuring adherence to programme, quality, and safety standards. Coordinate with local authorities, utility companies, and third parties for permits, road closures, and utility diversions.
