The role involves carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime, protect product quality, and ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and health & safety standards. Working closely with production and engineering teams, the Engineering Technician supports continuous improvement, helps maintain equipment reliability, and ensures the site meets operational and regulatory requirements. They may also be required to step in for the Engineering Team Leader when needed.Key Responsibilities:Act as first point of contact for daily maintenance issues when covering the Team Leader.Manage and control contractor activities safely and effectively.Apply LOTO and Permit to Work systems consistently.Support, coach, and develop the maintenance team.Identify and implement better ways of working to improve efficiency and reliability.Maintain strong health & safety standards across the site.Support capital projects and attend relevant training
