If youre confident with full kitchen installations and can turn your hand to plumbing, tiling, flooring and basic carpentry, wed love to hear from you. This is a full-time, permanent, PAYE position working 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. About the Role Youll be part of our Kitchen & Bathroom team within our Direct Labour Operation (DLO). Your main job will be installing complete kitchens in residents homes, safely, professionally and to a high standard. Were looking for someone who is confident with kitchen fitting and able to carry out the wider tasks that come with the job, including plumbing, tiling, vinyl flooring, surface preparation and basic carpentry. Youll work directly with residents, so being polite, tidy and respectful is just as important as being technically skilled. Well provide everything you need, including a fully equipped hybrid van, fuel card, work phone, tablet, uniform and PPE. About the Role As our Asbestos Manager, youll take operational responsibility for asbestos compliance across approximately 30,000 homes. Youll act as the organisations duty holder, ensuring we meet the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and all relevant HSE guidance. Youll oversee asbestos surveys, registers, management plans, contractor performance and risk controls, ensuring safe delivery of investment works, repairs, voids and planned programmes. Youll also lead the harmonisation of asbestos management practices across our merged organisation, aligning policies, data, systems and contractor arrangements. This role also plays a key part in implementing our new Asset & Compliance Management System, ensuring accurate asbestos data, strong reporting and improved visibility of risk. Youll manage a small team and work closely with colleagues across Property Services, Housing, Investment, Reactive Repairs and Voids.
