The International Office is responsible for the recruitment, conversion and support of international students, overseas partnership development and student mobility programmes, driving the internationalisation of the University and ensuring that Manchester Metropolitan University retains and enhances its global profile. About the role We are currently recruiting an International Enquiries Coordinator to join its International Recruitment and Conversion team. The postholder will contribute to and support the achievement of student recruitment KPIs, as outlined in the University's Road to 2030 and the Internationalisation Strategy. Key responsibilities include managing international student and stakeholder enquiries, supporting online and in-person conversion activities, assisting with targeted prospective student communications, and producing data and reports to inform recruitment and conversion strategies. What we're looking for? Strong customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment; Understanding of and experience of international student recruitment is desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Confidence communicating with people from different cultures and backgrounds, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity. Strong administrative, data management and reporting skills as well as attention to detail. Experience providing information, advice and guidance, ideally within education or a similar customer-focused sector. About our team: Technical Services are a large and diverse team of highly skilled technical professionals who ensure the optimal functioning of specialist spaces and resources to deliver an exceptional student experience. We work in specialist laboratories, workshops, studios, resource centres and IT facilities; and our technical professionals play a key role supporting, guiding, and advising students across our university from sciences, art, design and technology, through to sports, ceramics, nursing and physiotherapy. About the role: This role sits in the Digital Arts team, who provide specialist technical support to the School of Digital Arts (SODA) and the wider Arts & Humanities Faculty through managing studio spaces, supporting the delivery of Technical Skills Sessions to students and providing support to academics. The ideal candidate will offer positive and proactive support and have demonstrable skills in broadcast television, radio, podcast and live-streaming production. They will be familiar with industry-standard equipment and software, including broadcast cameras, vision and audio mixing, studio lighting, Blackmagic ATEM systems, OBS/vMix streaming platforms and Adobe Creative Cloud. The successful candidate will enjoy supporting students and staff in a busy, creative production environment and be keen to develop their technical skills across contemporary broadcast, streaming and hybrid event workflows. The role will involve supporting staff and students on a diverse number of customer-facing specialist counters and support areas. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of accomplishment in a similar environment.
