This is a pivotal senior role with responsibility for the strategic and operational leadership of the University's specialist research platforms and technical infrastructure services. Working closely with academic and professional service colleagues, you will shape infrastructure strategy, lead the development and continuous improvement of research platform services, and ensure they remain aligned with the University's research ambitions and regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to the senior leadership of TRIS and deputise for the Director when required. A key focus of the role is to maximise the impact and sustainability of the University's research platforms through commercial growth, cost recovery and external engagement. You will develop partnerships with industry, research organisations and other stakeholders, promoting the University's technical capabilities nationally and internationally to generate new income opportunities. About you You will hold a degree and typically a postgraduate or professional qualification in a relevant technical, scientific or research infrastructure discipline, or possess substantial equivalent experience.
