Contracts Manager M&E Maintenance We are seeking an experienced and proactive Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC maintenance services across a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial clients. This position plays a key role in ensuring all contracted works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual, financial, and quality expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end performance of multiple maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with SLAs and KPIs Act as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction Oversee PPM, reactive maintenance, and minor project delivery across M&E and HVAC disciplines Monitor contract financials, including budgeting, forecasting, margin control, and reporting Lead and support engineering teams, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements, H&S legislation, and company procedures Conduct site audits, contract reviews, and performance meetings Identify opportunities for contract growth, additional works, and service improvements Prepare reports, proposals, and necessary documentation Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or similar role) within an M&E or HVAC maintenance environment Strong technical understanding of M&E and HVAC systems Excellent communication, client management, and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple contracts and teams in a fast-paced environment Strong commercial awareness and experience managing contract budgets Knowledge of compliance requirements and health & safety standards Full UK driving licence What's On Offer Salary 50,000- 75,000 (DOE) Gross profit bonus - typically 10,000 6,000 car allowance 28 days holiday + Christmas shutdown + bank holidays Genuine organic progression within a growing business WR HVAC M&E are recruitment partner for HVAC jobs. Commercial Plumber / Commercial Gas Engineer Peterborough, Huntingdon & Cambridgeshire Mon-Fri 45,000- 57,000 OTE The Company An established, locally operated building services contractor is looking to add a Commercial Plumber (or a dual-skilled Commercial Gas Engineer) to their team. They're known for their strong family culture, long-standing client relationships and consistent workload across commercial and industrial sites within a 50-mile radius of Peterborough. The Role You'll be working across a mix of commercial plumbing, heating and (if qualified) gas installation and maintenance. The work varies week to week-ranging from PPM and remedials through to refurbishments and small project installs. You'll complete inspection & testing, associated certification, and ensure documentation is processed correctly. The role involves liaising directly with clients, supporting the Mechanical and Facilities teams when needed, and occasionally mentoring apprentices. Training is provided to keep you up to date with industry standards. Associate Design Director - Building Services A well-established M&E Design and Build contractor providing full turnkey mechanical and electrical installation and maintenance services is seeking a Mechanical Design or Building Services Engineer to head up the design team. With over 20 years of successful delivery across commercial, healthcare, motor retail, and high-security environments, the business continues to grow and now requires an experienced Design Engineer to join their team to take responsibility for the design function across the group You'll work with clients from initial consultation through to detailed design and handover, supporting both design and build and refurbishment projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and specify mechanical building services systems, including HVAC and plumbing. Produce detailed designs, drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD. Support the tender process with technical input, value engineering, and risk assessments. Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and supply partners to deliver integrated M&E solutions. Attend site surveys and client meetings; provide ongoing technical support through to commissioning and handover.
