We are looking for a passionate and skilled Marketing Manager on a fixed term maternity cover contract, to play a part in helping bring LCM's 5 year strategy to life. As part of our five-year strategy, we are aiming to double our core audience and extend our reach to new communities through a wide range of media channels. At the heart of this role is a desire to see more people engaged in sharing the gospel with those on the margins of society. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver engaging marketing and PR plans that raise awareness of LCM's work and provide clear, inspiring routes for churches and individuals to get involved. From promoting impactful training events and conferences to supporting fundraising initiatives, you'll play a central role in encouraging gospel-centred mission across the city. You'll work closely with teams across the charity, ensuring their resources and content are promoted effectively to the right audiences, whether that's through Christian media, digital channels, or live events. With a keen eye for opportunity and a collaborative approach, you'll help shape how LCM is seen, heard, and responded to by the wider Church. We are seeking a London Church Engagement Manager to lead on developing gospel partnerships with churches in London. In this role, you ll take the lead in expanding the number of giving churches and forging partnerships that enhance commitments in donations, prayer, and volunteering, all aimed at reaching those who are least likely to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. As London Church Engagement Manager you ll collaborate closely with the ministries and training departments, engaging in inspiring conversations with churches about the financial aspects of church partnerships. Plus, you ll connect churches with a missionary, fostering strong and lasting relationships with LCM. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: A track record of successfully engaging with, and fundraising from, churches Proven experience of developing and managing relationships with church leaders An in-depth understanding of the UK Evangelical Church including awareness of a range of theological positions. You will be part of a charity that has daily and weekly staff prayer meetings, monthly team days that include worship and teaching, and lots of opportunities to live out your faith. London City Mission Pioneers are Christians who live in some of the most gospel deprived areas of London and who have a heart for the lost. Their lives have been transformed by the Gospel message, and they want to pass it on to others. Through a part-time training programme in urban mission, which includes one day a week of interactive lectures, one day of working alongside a missionary and one day of work in your local congregation, we will equip you to help your local church to reach out with the gospel. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE A passion for Jesus Christ and to serve the people of London in a Gospel ministry. A desire to share the Gospel. Evidence of an infectious Christian faith. A minimum of one year attendance in current church. Unable to access Accredited Theological training otherwise. Involvement in evangelistic ministry would be preferred. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to participate in the LCM Training programme. Evidence of a commitment to personal well-being, a healthy and prayerful spiritual life and a committed relationship with a local church. Evidence of the recommendation, commitment and support from your church for this ministry. A knowledge and understanding of a culture and community in London that is unreached by most churches. There is an Occupational Requirement that the person appointed be an evangelical Christian. Salary: £18,570 per annum.
