We are recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Administrator to join a busy People Team within a leading higher education group. The successful candidate will be cross-trained to support both Talent Acquisition (TA) and Onboarding activities, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage high-volume administrative processes efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Deliver professional and proactive customer service to senior leaders, hiring managers, and candidates. Support the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication. Prepare and issue offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation. Complete Right to Work checks using Amiqus, ensuring full compliance with legislation and internal policies. Manage pre-employment checks such as references, DBS, and visa verification. Maintain accurate recruitment and onboarding records within HR and ATS systems. Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth transitions from recruitment to onboarding. Contribute to process improvements and uphold data protection and compliance standards. Person Specification: Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerised HR/recruitment systems. Understanding of HR and recruitment compliance requirements (Right to Work, GDPR, DBS). Flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team. thefutureworks has an exciting new opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator for our client in Rugby (12 month contract) The Role As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, whilst also maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also act as Administrative support to the HR team, ensuring all data is accurately entered and updated on People Systems, writing and issuing of letters and support on a project implementing a new HR system. Key Responsibilities Process monthly payroll input with precision. Liaise with outsourced payroll providers to meet deadlines. Administer employee benefits (P11d) and pension contributions. Support HR functions with data entry and compliance tasks. Provide efficient, confidential and professional administrative support to the business About You Experience in payroll administration and working with payroll software. Strong Excel skills and knowledge of benefit administration. Team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality. Qualifications as a Payroll Technician or another formal payroll qualification - CIPPS or equivalent (preferred but not essential) Awareness/Experience with systems including Moorepay, NaturalHR, Imperago would be beneficial but not essential as full training would be given.
