The College is seeking to appoint a Science Technician (Chemistry) to work as part of a team to ensure efficient running of the Science Department, to provide safe effective and efficient technical support and advice to staff and students. Including supporting practicals, the maintenance of health and safety procedures, and a number of administrative tasks. The role will predominately based in the Chemistry subject area and will provide specialist support to this area while providing non-specialist support to the other science technicians. This role would particularly suit an existing educational science technician in chemistry looking to relocate to the College, a chemist in industry looking to move into education, or a recent graduate with a large chemistry component of their degree. The successful candidate will teach on a range of units on Level 3 programmes in Access to Health Professionals, Nursing and Midwifery. The topics may include, roles and responsibilities, Mental Health and IIlness, Health Promotion, Introduction to Psychology and Communication within healthcare

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual, preferably a qualified teacher, to join a growing and popular ACCESS to Science curriculum area. The successful candidate will teach on a range of units on the level 3 ACCESS to Science for Science, Midwifery and Nursing The units will include Biological Science (majority) and Chemistry and Physics. This is a growing area within the college and our adult provision continues to move from strength to strength. You would be joining an experienced team of lecturers based predominantly at Shenstone House
