Role: Planner Location: South Yorkshire/East Midlands Salary: 60,000/ 70,000 + Package The planner has overall responsibility and accountability to ensure construction projects are planned and monitored to the best standard in accordance with timescales and strategy underpinned by the project requirements. To support the Senior / Project Managers and pre-construction team by providing a high-level planning service for the preparation of project plans, producing baseline scheduled tasks, resource profiles and financial models. To assist project teams with all essential planning information To create effective project plans including baseline scheduled tasks To create, control and manage time-controlled programmes focused on design and procurement management. Ensure all works are planned effectively and use best practice principals of planning. Produce programmes at pre-construction and construction stages collaboratively with senior construction and commercial team. Develop programmes in sufficient detail to cover all activities required from design management lead in requirements, procurement lead in requirements, temporary works requirements and any third-party influences on programme. In conjunction with the project team ensure all project programmes are reviewed weekly for current progress, critical path analysis and projections to inform management staff of actions required to arrest/prevent slippage and recovery. Interrogate the programme and identify areas for improvements, risk reduction and potential issues across the whole project. Assisting in the trend and change process, including production of project change reports, analysis of cost impact and provision of feedback on areas of risk and opportunities. Produce accurate and relevant reports which clearly identify the project position across construction, design and procurement clearly demonstrating issues and potential risks to the project on a weekly and monthly basis. Role: SHEQ Advisor Location: Portsmouth/South Coast Salary: 40,000 + Package Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated HSQE Advisor to join our team, focusing on Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental management. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation while promoting a culture of safety within the organisation. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the company. Responsibilities Undertake pre-commencement site surveys and facilitate early risk identification. Development of Construction Phase Plans Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. Prepare detailed reports on findings from audits and inspections, highlighting areas for improvement. Conducting stand-down briefings Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Accompanying Client Health & Safety tours Encouraging all employees and subcontractors to contribute to developing a safety culture throughout the business and on our sites. Assist teams with reviewing and advising upon workplace risk assessments for business operations and construction operations. Requirements Shall hold a NEBOSH General & ideally a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and/or a relevant Degree in H&S (preferred). Has a driving license. Shall be willing to travel and spend up to 1-2 nights away during the week during busier periods on project delivery. Can be flexible with supporting and undertaking audits for day and night shift projects.
