We are looking for an ambitious Software Developer or Software Engineer to join an established Green Energy business to develop a unique Azure based energy monitoring System for large industrial business across the UK. This office based in our Manchester head office, in order to absorb yourself in the business across all areas. About the Role We are seeking an experienced In-House Software Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance our Azure-based energy monitoring system . This role is integral to ensuring business continuity while also leading the development of new features and system enhancements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Responsibilities Maintain and manage the existing Azure-based energy monitoring system. Develop and implement new features and add-ons to improve system functionality. Ensure system security, reliability, and optimal performance. Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to internal teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose solutions. Implement best practices in software development, including code quality, version control, and documentation. Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to improve system performance and capabilities. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer . Strong experience with Azure cloud services , including app services, databases, and security protocols. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or equivalent. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git. Preferred Skills but not essential to have Experience with front-end development (React, Angular, or Vue.js). Knowledge of machine learning or AI-powered analytics. Familiarity with IoT and energy monitoring systems is a plus. Understanding of energy management systems and sustainability practices. Based in: ST5 Newcastle-Under-Lyme area of Stoke on Trent. 3 Weekly Rolling Shifts: 39 hour week 6am to 2pm. 2pm to 10pm. 10pm to 6am We are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join our team in a manufacturing environment, with experience of Fork Lift Truck driving. The role is varied and will include various machines including Bagging & Mixing machines. Working 3 weekly rolling shifts Mornings one week, afternoons to evenings the 2nd Week and one week nights. This is a secure long term fully employed opportunity in a growing company for someone looking to develop their career you will be operating several machines with some manual labour & teamwork. Ideally you will have worked within a production / factory environment performing manual tasks adhering to Health and safety rules and procedures. The Role: Based within 40 minutes of Stoke on Trent, you will be supporting our Distributors with their end user sales and building up a network of new distributors. Whilst you don't need to be an Engineer for this role it would be useful if you come from a Technical Sales background. The Candidate: From a Technical Sales background (Fire Systems background could be an advantage but not essential), a successful Technical Sales professional with a consultative sales approach and with strong business development skills, happy to travel (typically can be) could be as much as 1 or 2 weeks away in every 4 to 6 weeks. This role calls for someone who is ambitious, financially motivated and takes pride in providing the best solutions for your customers, selling systems and extinguishers, some existing distributor management and some new territories to develop. CMM Programmer Operator Quality Control Inspector c£45,000 to £50,000 including Overtime available + 33 days Holiday This opportunity represents a real opportunity to contribute to a well-established and successful business with genuine opportunity for advancement and movement within a global group of companies. Working two rolling shifts 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 9.30pm with as much over time as you would like usually available. You will need to have c5 years experience programming medium/large CMM machines with the ability to read technical drawings GDT is essential. You will need to be able to carry out Gauge R&R/MSA studies, have knowledge of PC-DMIS, Cad and Hexagon. Ideally you will have experience of high integrity industries i.e. Nuclear, Defence, Petrochemical, Aerospace or perhaps Automotive.
