Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring progress on site. Carrying out quality inspections and snagging. Promoting excellent health and safety practices. Learning construction programmes, sequencing and site logistics. Ensuring high standards of workmanship are maintained throughout the build. This is a hands-on role offering genuine career progression into Assistant Site Manager and beyond. About You We're looking for someone who: Holds a valid CSCS Card . Has experience working in a construction trade or on residential building sites. Is eager to move from a trade into site management. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Is enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn. Takes pride in delivering quality work and maintaining high safety standards. Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy to travel between sites across Cambridgeshire. We are working with an award-winning private housebuilder to recruit an Assistant Site Manager for an exciting new residential development. The Role As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring homes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be a key member of the construction team, taking ownership of areas of the site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring a strong focus on health & safety and customer satisfaction. You will also deputise for the Site Manager when required.
