Quality Assurance Technician Location: Braintree, CM7 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 + Overtime We are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move into Quality Assurance or build a long-term career within a structured and supportive environment. This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of the Quality department, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and customer regulatory standards. The Role Support the smooth running of the Quality Assurance function Ensure effective containment of reported issues to prevent customer impact Carry out First Article Inspections in line with customer requirements Verify product conformity using inspection equipment (CMM, Keyence, shadow graph, micrometers, bore micrometers) Assist with root cause analysis of non-conformances Raise and manage corrective action reports Conduct internal audits Investigate quality issues and ensure timely resolution Support the Quality Manager with additional tasks as required What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible approach to workload Experience Previous experience in Quality Assurance is not required. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to transition into a quality-focused role.
