How You'll Be Involved As the Community Wealth Fund enters our pilot phase, we seek an experienced social investment professional to work with our Youth Panel and community decision making groups to build out two new investment funds, one focussed on improving economic opportunities for the young people of Camden, and the other focussed on giving entrepreneurs from under-represented backgrounds access to capital. You will support our community decision making groups in shaping an investment strategy, designing and launching a fund, conducting due diligence, and making investments. This is social investment done in a completely new way; therefore the role requires adaptability, strong emotional intelligence, and a commitment to power-sharing in investment. You will manage partnerships across Camden, particularly building networks of entrepreneurs and business leaders interested in our funding. Supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs through the application process will be central to this role. You will also handle investments from application to disbursement, including legal agreements, and refine processes alongside our panels. All About You We are looking for some who has experience in structuring investments across equity, debt, and quasi-equity, conducting financial analysis and due diligence, and preparing investment recommendations. Strong communication skills, emotional awareness, and an interest in continuous improvement are essential. You should have experience supporting entrepreneurs through an investment process, negotiating legal agreements, and building investment pipelines. A strong understanding of impact measurement and stakeholder engagement will be key to success. About you We are looking for someone that has extensive property management experience, knowledge of building maintenance procedures and knowledge of administrative processes and that has a suitable construction-based qualification (i.e. HNC/HND or equivalent) with at least 3 years' specific property management and building maintenance experience. Relevant knowledge and experience of building defect diagnosis, specifying repairs, and co-ordination and management of works, and delivering services where high level of customer care and satisfaction is necessary along with good knowledge of managing contracts and contractors on site.
