Skills & Experience We're looking for someone who brings a combination of technical expertise, consultancy skills, and leadership experience. Essential 8+ years' experience implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise discovery solutions. Strong experience with platforms such as ServiceNow Discovery, BMC Discovery, Lansweeper, or similar technologies. Excellent understanding of datacentre infrastructure, servers, virtualisation, networking, and enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of discovery protocols including WMI, SNMP, SSH, WBEM, and related authentication methods. Experience integrating discovery tools with CMDB platforms. Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly around network connectivity and discovery failures. Good scripting or programming skills (such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, or similar). Experience producing customer documentation, solution designs, and technical presentations. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Desirable Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. ITIL Foundation or similar ITSM knowledge. Discovery platform certifications.
