Automation Product Owner Please note this role is Inside IR35 My client, a global telecoms operator is currently looking for a Product Owner with good Automation experience to join their team on a long term contract basis. As the Automation Product Owner, you will own one of three strategic Automation capabilities across their Fixed, Mobile & B2B networks. You will be responsible for maximizing product value and the work of the development teams. You will work with internal customers, systems transformation, business analysts and development teams to ensure maximum value is delivered across their scaled scrum teams. Key Accountabilities Build and assess use cases into a prioritised backlog, estimate MVP and business value delivered. Work alongside SA to do strategic use case design and design tactical solution with strategic outcome in mind Internal/External stakeholder engagement (including vendors) Set standards provide Automation thought leadership to wider community across NSE etc. Encourage close loop automation across E2E Plan, Provide & Assure ensuring Automation Silos are ALWAYS broken. Set development and SA targets Support sprint planning by prioritising, shaping of tickets; size ticket and allocating to squads Communicate updates to key stakeholders Help stakeholders to think strategically Explore new ways of working, tools and solutions that helps us achieve our strategic objective in more efficient ways Own your Product roadmap from strategy through to delivery Develop & mentor your teams and arrange training where necessary Encourage data-driven decision-making and sprint planning Work across fixed, mobile & B2B network and create synergies and consolidation where possible Experience/Knowledge Experience in a Senior Product owner role, ideally in a large Telco or IT company Experience working in Networks or IT network transformations Proven track record of delivering value Process Design Lean Six Sigma SAFe/Scrum Knowledge of telecom networks, technologies, and standards eg TMF/Tosca/MEF Experience with any of the following Automation tools such as Appian, Blue prism, Cisco NSO, Itential IAP, Rakuten Symphony, Resolve, Nokia Now.
