Due to the reputation and demands of residential property, this growing firm has an immediate start available for a Residential Conveyancer to join their team. This could be Fully Remote or Hybrid. On a day-to-day basis this Residential Conveyancer role will consist of dealing with sales and purchases including new builds and flats from initiation to completion, managing a caseload of residential matters. The ideal candidate will have had previous experience within a Residential Conveyancer role, handling their own caseload from start to finish. Any experience dealing with a freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered titles is desirable. In addition, the successful candidate can expect a salary ranging from 30,000- 50,000 dependent on experience and offers a Fully remote or Hybrid working model. The Role: Following private equity investment, our client is expanding their Conveyancing Team in Stockport to meet the demands of their flourishing business. You will act for buyers in property purchases and related sales, managing files from instruction to completion. (Hybrid working available after the initial training period) Key Responsibilities: Process sale/purchase transactions from instruction through to completion, liaising with mortgage brokers, estate agents, solicitors, and clients. Manage a diverse caseload, including freehold, leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions. Build strong relationships with clients and third parties, providing regular updates. Deliver exceptional service to clients, introducers, and third parties. Identify and resolve potential risks to protect clients and the business. Maintain files in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and regulatory requirements. Prepare and issue contract papers for related sales. Analyse search results. Liaise with Help to Buy and mortgage lenders to draw down client funds. Prepare completion statements and invoices. Handle exchange of contracts and legal completion. The Person: Around 2+ years' experience in file handling. Enthusiastic team-player and self-starter, able to work on own initiative. Ability to deliver high-quality customer service. Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and numerical skills. In Return, You Can Expect: Salary Range: 25,000 to 53,000 dependent on experience. Bonus Scheme: Monthly exchange bonus, quarterly quality bonus, and annual billings bonus, with an estimated additional 5k - 6k annually once you have an established caseload. Holidays: 25 days (including 2 for religious/cultural leave) + bank holidays + your birthday off. Hybrid Working: Minimum 2 days in the office after an initial 8-week training period. Clayton Legal are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established law firm who due to continued growth in their property department are looking for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor for their central London office. The ideal candidate must hold at least 2 years experience handling their own caseload of Conveyancing matters through to completion with minimal supervision, covering Sale & Purchase, Leasehold and Freehold matters. The role will also involve dealing with bridging finance however training can be provided for this. Prior experience in this will be advantageous but is not essential. Salary range on the role ranges from 35k- 50k and is dependent on experience level. The role is office based only but has an excellent benefits package and clear progression opportunities due to the size of the firm.
